UK band, Lawson have released a new song called, “Juliet” and boy is it a different sound for them. I absolutely love it. I feel some Police vibes in it—a “Message in a Bottle” and “Roxanne” influence. No complaints here!
The song is available for pre-order now and will officially be released on October 13th. However, that’s only for the UK. Sad face. Maybe we’ll get lucky soon enough. In the meantime, everyone can stream it via SoundCloud above.
AND…of course, the guys are currently on their Everywhere We Go US tour, so check out the dates below to see if you can make one of their electrifying shows.

If you weren’t able to catch New Zealand band, Six60 last year on their first US tour dates then you are in luck. The guys are coming back this month to play a few dates in San Francisco (3/9), Los Angeles (3/10), Austin (3/12-3/17 for SXSW!) and New York City (3/24). They even have a couple of dates in Canada (3/19 – 3/23). If you were able to catch them last time, then I’m sure you’re ready for a repeat performance.
Six60 makes ground breaking music and I can’t wait for them to catch on in the states. Their live show is incredible and like any good show you leave wanting more. So check out all the dates here and get your tickets!
Listen to one of my favorite tracks, “Run For It“, below:
Senses Fail will release their fifth full-length studio album Renacer on March 26, 2013 on Staple Records. It was produced by Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones) who the band respects greatly. Last February marked 10 years of hard work for the band and they wasted no time on writing Renacer after that.
Frontman, Buddy Nielsen stated, “The name Renacer means “to be reborn” in Spanish. We chose the name because it reflected the change that we embraced in our personal lives as well as in our musical lives. The name ties together the themes of the record, which touch on change through positivity, balance, spiritual growth and love. We are very proud of the work we have done and are extremely excited to share it with the world.”
Tour dates for their US and UK Tours are below. Continue Reading
