The Faint are back with their sixth album, DOOM ABUSE out April 8th. The video for “Help In The Head” has already been released and was directed by Tim Nackashi (Maroon 5, One Republic). They are releasing the album in quite a few ways. First, DOOM ABUSE Deluxe Double LP, which is limited to 500 copies, is available now. Remember The Faint and their before-its-time-dance-rock tune, “Glass Danse“? Well, if you don’t you were seriously missing out, but you now have your chance to get in on the action. On October 30th, Saddle Creek will reissue one of the crown jewels of the movement, an album that over time has proven to be as influential as it is exhilarating: The Faint’s third album, 2001’s Danse Macabre. The remastered release, which features six bonus tracks from the era as well as an extensive booklet, will be available on CD in a triple-disc format with a DVD, and on double vinyl that also includes the CDs and DVD. Additionally, the DVD will include archival video footage from the band, live projection videos from that era’s tour dates, the “Agenda Suicide” music video (directed by MK12), some live footage, and more.
