MUSIC VIDEO: MS MR – “Painted”

MS MR are set to release their sophomore album, How Does it Feel, on July 17th. They recently released the music video for the first single off the album, “Painted” and it rocks.

The video is a collaboration between the band and director Tabitha Denholm (Florence and the Machine, Haim, Jessie J). The idea for the video was inspired by famed director, Stanley Kubrick as well as the 1970s documentary The Secret Life of Plants. Love the song and the groovy, psychedelic video. For something a little smoother, their second single, “Wrong Victory” takes it down a notch. Check it out here.

New Zealand’s, Six60 are finally gracing us with their self-titled sophomore album. You can pre-order the deluxe album here. Semi Precious Weapons To Release New Album, Aviation, In April / Pre-Order Now

Semi Precious Weapons will be releasing their sophomore full-length, studio album titled Aviation this April on RedZone Records. FINALLY. The NY-based band moved to L.A. to work with “Tricky” Stewart (Beyonce, Rihanna, Frank Ocean) on the album and subsequently signed to his RedZone Music label.

James Durbin to Release New Album + New Single, “Parachute”

James Durbin  is ready to release his sophomore album on April 8, 2014. The untitled album will be released on Wind-up Records. The first single, “Parachute” will be his first release since 2011 and will be available digitally on Friday, November 22nd. To top it off, James co-wrote 10 of the albums 11 tracks.

Little Boots to Release New Album Nocturnes in May + US Tour [@LittleBoots]

Little Boots made headlines with her Gold-selling debut Hands in 2009. Now she is prepping to release her sophomore studio album, Nocturnes on May 7^th, on her new On Repeat Records imprint through Kobalt Music. Produced by Tim Goldsworthy, Nocturnes contains a mix of sounds including: pop, disco and EDM. She has posted some track teasers on her website for now, but if you’re getting antsy you can pre-order Nocturnes on iTunes HERE.
