Former One Direction member, Liam Payne, has released the first single off his brand new EP, First Time out now on Republic Records.
“First Time” is an upbeat track featuring French Montana and has a slower, but still catchy vibe than Payne’s breakout single, “Strip That Down.” The music video itself is low-key with Payne cruising through the streets with French Montana.
Check it out above and see if you’re feeling Liam’s new single.
Ed Sheeran as a puppet you say?! That’s exactly what you will see in his new music video for the amazingly awesome single, “SING“. I just can’t get enough of this song and he just made it better with this super clever and funny video. The karaoke bar theme fits really well with the song lyrics and those Asian businessman were incredible. Pharrell also makes a cameo in the video since he contributed vocals and produced the track. The ending of the music video is classic. It is hands down one of my favorite videos this year. Watch the goodness above!
Oh man, am I loving Scarlett Rabe‘s single, “Battle Cry“. It’s intense, with a head bopping melody and incredibly catchy lyrics. I’m always happy when I find a song that I can play repeatedly without getting tired of it and “Battle Cry” is definitely one of them. The piano is awesome and so I’m not surprised to find out that she’s classically trained and has been deemed a “classical piano prodigy”. Scarlett may be a newcomer, but with soul like her’s, I think we’ll be hearing a lot from her. Personally, I can’t wait for more. Have a listen to “Battle Cry” above.
The Journeys Noise Touris being headlined by none other than the crazy-awesome duo, 3OH!3. They will be supported by The Summer Set, Wallpaper, and NeW bEAt FUNd. All four (4) bands have collaborated on the catchy song, “Turn The Night On” and I can’t get enough of it. Have a listen above and check out all 33 tour dates below. Continue Reading
UK 2010 X-Factor winner, Matt Cardle has done quite well for himself if a platinum-selling debut album is any indication. His latest single, “Loving You”features none other than my favorite Spice Girl, Melanie C. He also co-produced the single with Jamie Scott and Toby Smith (ex-Jamiroquai) and plays guitar and drums on the track. Talk about being hands on.
Sporty Spice has an awesome voice and I enjoyed her duet with Bryan Adams. This time around the duet with Matt is just as UH-mazing. The song is great and the two have great on-screen chemistry. Take a look above!
“Make A Scene” from NOVI is seriously my song pick for the week. From the moment I first heard it I just couldn’t get enough of it. She’s had a few of her songs featured on prominent shows and it’s really a wonder how the music world hasn’t been buzzing about her yet. Her songs are fun and her lyrics are refreshingly blunt. She will soon release her EP, Now I’m There. Until then check out “Make A Scene” and her other tracks on SoundCloud.

Will.i.am released his music video for “#thatPOWER” featuring Justin Bieber. In true will.i.am fashion it is crazy, futuristic and quite cool. Love the dance moves, the scenery and that car is UH-mazing.
I’ve had “#thatPower” on repeat since it first came out. Even if you aren’t a fan of will or Biebs, you know it makes your head bounce. Watch the video above to see all that coolness. Besides, where else would you get to see a Bieber hologram?
