Saving Abel Add Tour Dates With Hinder

Saving Abel have added new tour dates to their schedule continuing on with Hinder for one of the best touring packages this winter.

“All of us in Saving Abel are excited about continuing to tour with Hinder,” remarked lead singer Jared Weeks.  “This whole tour is one hell of a package.  So many great bands with great shows, we should make a habit outta this!  Come to the show and get your faces melted off.  It’s cold in January but this tour is Hot, Hot Hot!”

Saving Abel’s Healthy “Sex” Drive Leads To Their 5th Consecutive Hit

From the group that got everyone “Addicted” Saving Abel have returned with another sexually charged hit with “Sex Is Good.”  The song is currently sitting at #10 on the Rock charts and is continuing to fly up the charts.

The irony that the song, which is now a Top 10 hit at rock radio has become the band’s second stab at blunt sexual honestly isn’t lost on lead singer Jared Weeks.

“Every night playing live I always ask the crowd if they would be surprised if Saving Abel had wrote another song about sex, cause we all know that ‘addicted’ isn’t really a song for Sunday school.  And the reaction is always a good one. ‘Sex Is Good’ is kinda of a story of a bad boy gone even worse! But the important message in the song is about the honesty. Seriously, think about how many times in our lives that we have all been those relationships where the bed room is the only ounce of excitement some of us have, thus out comes the truth! We have all said it at one point another….. That’s right, I’m not in Love but the SEX is good.”

SAVING ABEL MISS AMERICA IN STORES TODAY, JUNE 8TH + Store Signings

Saving Abel’s Miss America is in stores today, June 8th on Virgin Records. The follow-up to the band’s breakthrough debut has reached critical mass via strong support at radio, adds at key video channels, and a world tour that has been underway for months.   The lead single “Stupid Girl (Only In Hollywood)” is flying up the rock charts, currently bulleted at 14, while the accompanying video is in rotation on MTV2.

Saving Abel has confirmed multiple in-store appearances at Best Buy locations in the Midwest.  Performances and signings will be held at 6:00 P.M. in MADISON, WI  on 6/07 (7357 West Towne Way); MINNEAPOLIS, MN on 6/08 (300 Northtown Drive Blaine, MN); CHICAGO, IL on 6/09 (1432 Butterfield Road Downers Grove, IL); INDIANAPOLIS, IN on 6/10 (562 Fry Road Greenwood, IN); and DETROIT, MI  on 6/11 (30701 Gratiot Avenue Roseville, MI).  At Wal-Mart, MISS AMERICA has been selected to be one of the few titles featured for the month of June in the chain’s Soundcheck Program, delivering tens of millions of impressions.

On August 2, the quartet will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC).  This is the first of multiple television appearances planned for late-Summer in to the fall to support the release of MISS AMERICA.

SAVING ABEL TO RELEASE SECOND ALBUM MISS AMERICA ON JUNE 8th

Virgin Records will release Saving Abel’s MISS AMERICA on June 8, 2010.  The follow-up to the band’s breakthrough debut (“Addicted” anyone??) has reached critical mass via strong support at radio, adds at key video channels, widespread positioning at retail, and a world tour that has been underway for three months.   The lead single “Stupid Girl (Only In Hollywood)” is flying up the rock charts, currently bulleted at 13, while the accompanying video is in rotation on MTV2.  MISS AMERICA has been selected for the coveted Wal-Mart Sound Check Program, yielding 150 million impressions, and will be positioned at every retailer under the sun on street date. The video for “Stupid Girl (Only In Hollywood)” (above) is all over broadcast, cable and the Internet.

In front of the imminent release of MISS AMERICA, guitarist Scott Bartlett shares, “There is always anticipation when it comes to the release of a new record.  You’re nervous, excited, and vulnerable.  The key is to remember that this is rock and roll and those emotions don’t matter once the record is done.  We roll the dice and the game begins.  We couldn’t be more proud of the way it turned out.  Now it’s up to the public.
