Muse released their music video for “Thought Contagion” directed by Lance Drake. The song itself has the standard haunting quality that we have come to know and expect from Muse. The music video is dark with highlighting neon florescent lighting giving it the right feel to the sound. The Gothic 80s setting has everything from an arcade machine to punk rockers to vampires. Check out the madness above.
Check out the just released video for “Secrets” by Tribe Society, a recent PopZine find. These guys are so awesome we can’t even give a real comparison to any other band. Even Awolnation would be a stretch. Check out the video above and you might just become a fan!
British quartet, Lawson are back! We were worried we were not going to hear new material from these guys, but those worries are over now. The band released the music video for their latest single, “Roads” and it is SO good. It is definitely different from anything that was on Chapman Square, but it works. If you like the new stuff from The Fray (especially “Love Don’t Die”) or One Republic, you will probably like this track. Here’s to the guys breaking the U.S. this year!
New Zealand’s, Six60 are finally gracing us with their self-titled sophomore album. You can pre-order the deluxe album here. It will become available on February 27, 2015 via Massive Entertainment/Universal Music NZ. If you want a sneak peek, you’re in luck. Have a listen to “Special” above (available worldwide on iTunes) and check out the track, “So High“, here. We can’t wait to hear the album in its entirety! What about you?
I recently came across this music video from Bear Arms called “Fool’s Gold” and was surprised at it’s low view count. The post-hardcore band is from Glasgow, Scotland and reminded me of the music we started promoting on PZO when it first began. Think Thursday and Thrice. They have quite a few gems on their debut album, Strength and Conviction, which you can find on BandCamp. Have a listen and pass on the video, these guys deserve way more plays.
After what has seemed like forever, The Cab have finally released some new music–today. Their EP, Lock Me Up is available on iTunes now. To say that it is incredibly awesome would be down playing it because it is musical bliss. Is it too soon to be craving a new album?!?! Of course not!
Be sure to grab the new EP and you could meet the band. They are currently doing multiple Google hangout dates and if you live in Los Angeles, they are inviting 200 lucky fans who provide proof of purchase of Lock Me Up to a movie screening tomorrow. Visit their official Facebook page for more info.
