James Durbin is ready to release his sophomore album on April 8, 2014. The untitled album will be released on Wind-up Records. The first single, “Parachute” will be his first release since 2011 and will be available digitally on Friday, November 22nd. To top it off, James co-wrote 10 of the albums 11 tracks.
Be sure to tune into the American Music Awards Red Carpet pre-show where James will reveal an exclusive video clip of “Parachute”. You can catch it on your local TV network or you can log on at Durbinrock.com, AMAS.com, ABC.com, Cocacola.com and Yahoo.com to watch it live on November 24th.
Pop-rock band, Parachute are set to release their third studio album, Overnight, on August 13th on Mercury Records. The first single off of the album is called, “Can’t Help” and was co-written by Ryan Tedder of One Republic. After its release last week it made its way to the Top 30 on the iTunes Pop Chart and #1 on the popular chart of Twitter Music. I’m definitely loving the track as much as “Something To Believe In” if not even just a tad bit more. Check it out below:

Parachute is set to release their sophomore album entitled The Way It Was May 17th on Mercury Records. Produced by John Fields (Switchfoot, the Goo Goo Dolls, P!nk, Paper Tongues), the album features anthemic hit single “Something To Believe In.
Parachute now debuts their song and video for “You and Me” (watch above) and the track is now available for purchase at iTunes. To learn more about the video’s inspirations, check out Will’s blog post.
Additionally, Parachute – magnetic frontman Will Anderson (guitars, piano, lead vocals), Kit French (saxophone, key boards, vocals), Alex Hargrave (bass), Johnny Stubblefield (drums), and Nate McFarland (lead guitar, vocals) – have just announced U.S. summer support dates with the Goo Goo Dolls and Michelle Branch, kicking off on July 13th in Cincinnati, OH and wrapping August 25th in Reno, NV.

Mercury Records group Parachute glides into the new year with a brand new single, “Something To Believe In,” from their upcoming second album, THE WAY IT WAS (due for April release), and a fresh round of U.S. tour dates with Plain White T’s and Miggs on the Wonders Of The Younger tour.
HE WAY IT WAS is also expected to include a number of songs that Parachute has introduced at recent shows, among them “Break My Heart For Me,” “Halfway,” “Square One,” “The Way It Was,” “What I Know,” and “White Dress.” Another track, “Kiss Me Slowly,” was written with Grammy winners Lady Antebellum. THE WAY IT WAS was produced by John Fields, whose credits include Switchfoot, the Goo Goo Dolls, P!nk, and Paper Tongues.
THE WAY IT WAS follows up Parachute’s Losing Sleep, which scored a #1 iTunes album debut when it was released in May 2009. The album featured the Top 15 Hot AC hit “She Is Love.” Parachute – Will Anderson (guitars, piano, lead vocals), Kit French (saxophone, key boards, vocals), Alex Hargrave (bass), Johnny Stubblefield (drums), and Nate McFarland (lead guitar, vocals) – enjoyed a breakout year starting with their live performance of “She Is Love” at the annual New Year’s Eve celebration on Times Square in New York City.
