Justin Bieber had a record party for his fans to celebrate the release of his fourth studio album, Purpose. It was held at Staples Center and due to popular demand he added two more shows that night. Biebs came out to do a Q&A, while skateboarding on stage. He was covering up his bleach blonde hair until he gave in to fan requests to show it off. He followed up the Q&A with an acoustic performance of “Sorry”, “What Do You Mean?”, “One Less Lonely Girl”, “Boyfriend” and a few others.
After he was done with his set, he introduced Purpose: The Movement film before he left the stage. The film was a collection of videos of his dancers doing choreography to every song on the new album. The film lasted about 40 minutes and overall the event lasted about 1.5 hours.
The night was really a dedication to the fans because only Beliebers would get a cool experience listening to the new music with Justin himself. Now if only other artists would do the same…
No more waiting! Adele has officially returned with the music video for her new track, “Hello.” It is classic deep and genuine Adele. There are only so many artists that truly feel the lyrics they sing let alone are able to communicate those emotions to their listeners. So thank you, Adele. Welcome Back.
Joe Jonas is back with a new band, DNCE, which also features JinJoo Lee, Jack Lawless, and Cole Whittle. The band released their EP, SWAAY, which features their hit track, “Cake By The Ocean.” DNCE is following up the release with The Greatest Tour Ever Tour. You don’t want to miss this tour! Dates listed above.
New York Indie-pop duo, The Score have brought the feel-good song to end summer with. “Oh My Love“ is one happy-go-lucky track full of energy and fun. These guys are blowing up in the UK and have finally been making their way home. Lucky us!
The duo give a few ideas of how to spend your last few days of summer in their music video. Listen to the track and be prepared to let go!
Rudimental have announced their sophomore album, We the Generation, set for release on September 18, 2015 through Major Toms/Big Beat. The 14-track album includes their brand new single “Never Let You Go,” the music video for which was shot by director Nez in the UK, Morocco, Ukraine and LA. These guys are definitely one of the best underrated UK acts out there right now. We the Generation doesn’t look like it will disappoint! Full track listing below.

MS MR are set to release their sophomore album, How Does it Feel, on July 17th. They recently released the music video for the first single off the album, “Painted” and it rocks.
The video is a collaboration between the band and director Tabitha Denholm (Florence and the Machine, Haim, Jessie J). The idea for the video was inspired by famed director, Stanley Kubrick as well as the 1970s documentary The Secret Life of Plants. Love the song and the groovy, psychedelic video. For something a little smoother, their second single, “Wrong Victory” takes it down a notch. Check it out here.
Nathan Sykes, who you may know from The Wanted, has officially released the music video for his official first single, “Kiss Me Quick.” The Wanted are currently on hiatus while every member of the band pursues their own personal endeavors. Nathan is the first to try out a solo career.
The vibe and style for “Kiss Me Quick” channels Michael Bublé and Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience. Nathan is growing up before our eyes! The song is a catchy tune that has 90s R&B feels all over it. First he released the teaser, “More Than You’ll Ever Know” followed by “Kiss Me Quick,” now we’re eagerly awaiting the debut album!
Pip is hands down one of my favorite contestants from “The Voice.“ Who has that much swagger during their audition? Come on. One of the disappointing things about The Voice is they never follow-up with past contestants who are still releasing music. Pip has continued making music and his newest song, “Trash Talk” is awesome. He has his signature bow-tie and it has a great message. What more could you ask for? See for yourself above!
One of my favs, Meg Myers released a video for her track, “Sorry” and she has Rolling Stone raving all about her (took them long enough). Meg is one of a kind and has so much passion in her music. “Sorry” continues to impress and of course it wouldn’t be complete without a unique music video—this time we get her smashing up a room with a baseball bat!
Meg’s brand is cool and different and while some outlets think she’s all over the place, we think her expressing so many emotions and styles is part of her charm. Soon enough she will be appreciated for that. Take a look at the video above!
British quartet, Lawson are back! We were worried we were not going to hear new material from these guys, but those worries are over now. The band released the music video for their latest single, “Roads” and it is SO good. It is definitely different from anything that was on Chapman Square, but it works. If you like the new stuff from The Fray (especially “Love Don’t Die”) or One Republic, you will probably like this track. Here’s to the guys breaking the U.S. this year!
