Nathan Sykes, who you may know from The Wanted, has officially released the music video for his official first single, “Kiss Me Quick.” The Wanted are currently on hiatus while every member of the band pursues their own personal endeavors. Nathan is the first to try out a solo career.
The vibe and style for “Kiss Me Quick” channels Michael Bublé and Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience. Nathan is growing up before our eyes! The song is a catchy tune that has 90s R&B feels all over it. First he released the teaser, “More Than You’ll Ever Know” followed by “Kiss Me Quick,” now we’re eagerly awaiting the debut album!
Nathan Sykes, formerly of the British boyband The Wanted, has been planning a solo career for some time now. His first single is set to be released this Spring; however, he decided to give us a sneak peek by releasing a track, “More Than You’ll Ever Know,” from his forthcoming album. He says:
I wanted to give you a taster of what’s to come and couldn’t wait until the first single. So here’s “More Than You’ll Ever Know”, a track from my forthcoming album. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Love it, we do! We are so happy that he decided to stick with soulful genre that fits him so well. You can listen to the song above and download it by signing up here.
One of my fav boy bands, The Wanted, released a statement to their fans today stating that they are taking a break after their upcoming Word of Mouth Tour. Things were getting suspicious when most of the band members began other ventures (modeling, solo single, clothing company, etc) late last year, but the band evaded rumors until now. After releasing the statement, they took to their individual twitters to say that this is not the end. Only time will tell on that front.
In the meantime, they will soon be releasing the video for their newest single, “Glow in the Dark“, an electro-dance track that was, in my opinion, one of the best songs on Word of Mouth. Sigh. Good and bad news all in one. These guys put on an insane live show, so be sure to catch this last tour while you can.
It took a long time, but finally the sophomore album (at least for the US) from The Wanted has arrived. The title, Word of Mouth fits the group perfectly since their popularity has grown through people telling their friends and family about them. This grass roots approach has earned them fans that stayed up all night to download the album the moment it was released digitally as well as fans who staged buy outs across the world. This dedication is in hopes of getting The Wanted to be the number one boy band in the world, but will Word of Mouth get them there? Continue Reading
The Wanted have released the tracklisting for their highly anticipated new album, Word of Mouth. It will finally be released on November 4th, 2013 after being pushed back more than once (perfection doesn’t come easy!). The US version varies slightly from the European version in that we get “Glad You Came” (again) instead of “Love Sewn”. Why they did that, I’m not sure, but US fans will be scrambling to grab the other song somehow. You can find the the regular and deluxe tracklisting below.
The group also announced their Word of Mouth World Tour. Tickets are on sale now and if you’re a Wanted World member you can get VIP tickets that include a meet and greet, details and tour dates here. If you don’t see your city, don’t worry just yet, the guys said they will continue to add more cities. Continue Reading
UK’s most underrated boyband, The Wantedhave announced Fall Tour Dates in the U.S. (and one in Canada). They will be hitting up seven (7) dates on the tour, so catch the one nearest to you because these guys know how to put on a show. Tickets are on sale now!
There is a new extended trailer for the E! reality show, The Wanted Lifewhich follows British (and Irish!) boyband, The Wanted. The show will begin airing on June 2nd of this year and will follow these five guys who sure seem to get into a lot of shenanigans. But let’s face it, that’s part of their charm. E! might have made the series a little more dramatic, but that won’t stop most of us from watching it! Also, be sure to listen to their new single, “Walks Like Rihanna” here.
The Wanted have decided to release the fan version of the “I Found You” music video after fans have been begging for months. The video, which was originally shot in August of last year, was filmed in Los Angeles and featured many real-life fans. I may or may not be one of them. 🙂 The video is quite awesome with a Beatlemania theme done in the style of the movie That Thing You Do. However, the ending is pretty classic and knowing these guys it is completely possible to have really happened. Enjoy the shenanigan filled video above, but be warned—there is extreme fangirling throughout. Oh, and did I mention that they look uh-MAZING?!?

This was a big night for The Wanted. They sang their newest single, “I Found You” live at the American Music Awards and killed it. They were also nominated in the “Favorite Band, Duo or Group” category, but lost out to Maroon 5. But even so, after that AMA performance there’s no doubt that everyone has their eyes on these guys now. In the usual fashion of award shows the guys hit up Continue Reading
After a long wait the music video for “I Found You” from The Wantedhas been released. There’s three main observations on this for me. First, I love the song. I have been listening to it non-stop since it was first leaked on YouTube and can’t get enough of it. Second, and the most obvious is all the guys are looking real good. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to let you in on that one. Lastly, they are total bad asses in this video. I almost wish the fight scene could have lasted longer. If anyone said they could take on this boyband, they might want to think about that again.
I won’t ruin the whole “surprise” of the video, you can see that for yourself, but I did enjoy the twist with the female lead character. That was a nice little tease from Nathan. It was creative although I wouldn’t have expected this idea for this particular song, but I can’t complain. I would, however, like to know what happened to the footage filmed in LA that was supposed to be for this video. A completely different idea that must have gotten scrapped last minute, but it doesn’t hurt to throw it up as an unofficial video (hint, hint, guys). But for now, take a look at the official video above and be sure to buy the single on iTunes on November 4th.
[Edit: So, apparently the LA footage will be used for something else “just as big” according to Siva who told fans during a Twitcam session an hour before the video was released.]
