Sad news for Yellowcard fans today. The band announced that long-time drummer Longineu “LP” Parsons III has left Yellowcard. In the statement that they released they said, “Longineu has decided to pursue other musical interests. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.” A replacement for LP was not announced. Yellowcard have gone through a number of line-up changes since the start of the band and after LP’s departure, Sean Mackin (violin) remains the only original member.
