Robin Packalen, known as Robin, is Finland’s version of Justin Bieber. That’s what they call him at least. I encountered him on my recent visit to Helsinki and even though I can’t understand Finnish his music has a catchy feel to it. He is definitely your typical teen pop singer and he has the fans to prove it. If you’re a fan of Justin Bieber or Austin Mahone, but are looking for an international twist, then check out Robin’s music video above.

Justin Bieber had a record party for his fans to celebrate the release of his fourth studio album, Purpose. It was held at Staples Center and due to popular demand he added two more shows that night. Biebs came out to do a Q&A, while skateboarding on stage. He was covering up his bleach blonde hair until he gave in to fan requests to show it off. He followed up the Q&A with an acoustic performance of “Sorry”, “What Do You Mean?”, “One Less Lonely Girl”, “Boyfriend” and a few others.
After he was done with his set, he introduced Purpose: The Movement film before he left the stage. The film was a collection of videos of his dancers doing choreography to every song on the new album. The film lasted about 40 minutes and overall the event lasted about 1.5 hours.
The night was really a dedication to the fans because only Beliebers would get a cool experience listening to the new music with Justin himself. Now if only other artists would do the same…
Yesterday, Justin Bieber released a music video for his new song, “Confident” featuring Chance The Rapper. Amidst all his legal troubles, Biebs is trudging through and working on what he does best–making the tweens swoon.
The song, as you can imagine, talks about him being into a girl who is confident. The video inserts dialogue between him and a chick whose number he wants. Not that you could call the worst pick up line ever as dialogue, but just go with it. At the end she agrees to give him her number, but the only exchange we see is a kiss. Because let’s be real, he probably doesn’t have to do much to pick up a girl.
I can’t say I’m a big fan of Chance The Rapper, in fact, I’d probably like the song a whole lot better without him. There’s also a few choreographed dance sequences in the video, but nothing over the top. See for yourself above.
Will.i.am released his music video for “#thatPOWER” featuring Justin Bieber. In true will.i.am fashion it is crazy, futuristic and quite cool. Love the dance moves, the scenery and that car is UH-mazing.
I’ve had “#thatPower” on repeat since it first came out. Even if you aren’t a fan of will or Biebs, you know it makes your head bounce. Watch the video above to see all that coolness. Besides, where else would you get to see a Bieber hologram?
Here is the just released music video for “Beauty And A Beat” by Justin Bieber. Before you go thinking that this is just another video from him you might want to consider the fact that he wrote, directed and shot the film himself. This kid is always adding a new twist to something. The video is set at a huge pool party with water slides, some synchronized swimming, screens with Dance 4 on (nice placement), ping pong, and Justin walking through it all until he meets up with Nicki. That’s where the most awkward moment of the video comes into play. When Justin starts singing “Body rock…” and he’s all up against her doing a body roll—had me cracking up (you have to see it for yourself). That aside, not my favorite video from him (love the song though!), but props for trying something new.
