The Jonas Brothers are back! Their new single, “Sucker” is the perfect track to make their comeback with. It’s classic Jonas Brothers, but still keeping with the current music climate. The music video is also something to talk about. The guys feature their wives/fiancee in extravagant fashion styles and scene locations. If this is the start, I can’t wait for what the JoBros will bring next. Be sure to check out the video above!

Joe Jonas is back with a new band, DNCE. The quartet embodies a crazy, fun, dance and rock style in their music. Their first single, “Cake by the Ocean” turned into an instant hit. With its catchy lyrics and feel-good vibes, it has become a popular tune for commercials and TV spots. Fronted by Jonas, the rest of the band includes Cole Whittle (formerly of Semi Precious Weapons), JinJoo Lee and Jack Lawless. The band is your classic group of oddball misfits that have emerged on the scene bringing something unique.
This sold-out show at The Roxy was their first LA show and needless to say, they killed it. The band performed some of their originals from their album, SWAAY including: “Pay My Rent”, “Toothbrush” and “DNCE” as well as some shockingly awesome covers of “Kiss” (Prince), “Thong Song” (Sisqo), and “Roxanne” (The Police). The band ended with “Cake by the Ocean” before walking back on stage to Queen’s “We Are The Champions” while they waved a random trophy around the stage. We did say they were oddballs, so don’t question the antics.
Overall, this in demand show was everything you would expect and more. The entire band contributes not only to their original sound, but also to their wildly entertaining stage presence. It was over before I knew it, and I was left wanting more music…and cake (ocean optional).

I’ll admit I’ve never heard an entire Jonas Brothers record. Gasp! I know. In fact, the only songs I had heard before were from Camp Rock 1 and 2 (guilty pleasures) and very recently, “Pom Poms” when they performed it on Jimmy Fallon. Movie and television star Kevin James (Paul Blart: Mall Cop, The King of Queens and the upcoming films Zookeeper and Grown Ups) will host Nickelodeon’s 23rd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards, airing live from UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on Saturday, March 27 (8-9:30 p.m. ET/PT). The slime will flow for the no-holds-barred kudo/mess-fest on the night kids rule and get to honor their favorites from the worlds of film, music, sports and television.
