MOVIE TRAILER: Kingsman – The Secret Service

Oh my, Colin Firth still has it! His character has certain attributes similar to John Steed played by Ralph Fiennes in the 1998 movie, The Avengers. But Kingsman looks even better with Michael Caine and Samuel L. Jackson on board and let’s not forget it is directed by Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class, Kick-Ass).

If you are a sucker for spy/action movies and/or Colin Firth, you will want to watch this. The trailer has made the rounds around the net and some have been bagging on the special effects. Just an FYI, this film is going to be released on February 13, 2015 meaning the special effects will be cleaned up by then. Give it a chance and have a look-see at the trailer. If not for that, then watch to hear the new Iggy Azalea and Ellie Goulding collab.

MUSIC VIDEO: Charli XCX – “Break The Rules”

Charli XCX is bringing hit after hit! After working with Icona Pop and Iggy Azalea she released the addicting track, “Boom Clap” and now she has dropped a new video for her latest single, “Break the Rules”. The video features cameos from Rose McGowan and Chloe Chaidez (Kitten). Her sophomore album, “Sucker” is out on October 21^st via Neon Gold/Atlantic Records.

I was inspired by movies like” Jawbreaker” and “Carrie” for the “Break the Rules” video. I never went to prom when I was at school so this was kind of me living out my weird fantasy of what prom would be like in my head. I asked Rose McGowan to be in the video and I never ever thought she would say yes, but she did… so she came to prom too… And she trashed it 😉 – Charli XCX

Rixton Covers Ariana Grande’s “Problem”

Ariana Grande‘s song, “Problem” is currently #1 on the UK charts and #3 on the US Charts and in appreciation of their friend’s song Rixton decided to cover it. I am not as crazy about the original as the rest of the world, but Rixton has made me love their version. They ommitted Iggy Azalea‘s rap and gave the song their own little twist. Do yourself a favor and listen to it now.

The last time I went to Perez Hilton’s One Night in LA was in 2010 and it was a free show that he was able to get sponsored. This year he was charging for tickets with all proceeds going to VH1’s Save The Music Foundation. Definitely missing was a lot of the perks that were present in previous years (photo booths, popchips, etc). However, more acts were added to the lineup, so
