Greyson Chance to Release Debut Album August 2nd!

Greyson Chance announced on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that his debut album, “Hold On ‘Til the Night,” will be released on 8/2 via eleveneleven/Maverick/Geffen Records.  The majority of the album was written by Greyson and recorded over the past year in Los Angeles, where the young star worked with all-star producers including The Matrix (Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Jason Mraz, Britney Spears), Billy Steinberg (Enrique Iglesias, Katherine McPhee, Miranda Cosgrove) and Ron Fair (Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Black Eyed Peas).

“Recording this album has been such a fun and exciting journey!” said Greyson. “I’ve put so much hard work into it and I can’t wait for the world to hear it. It’s about overcoming fears but always powering through, and I think it’s a message my fans will really relate to,” he added.

Greyson Chance, “Waiting Outside the Lines,” is now available on iTunes. The debut album release includes Greyson’s first single “Waiting Outside the Lines,” studio versions of his covers of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” and Augustana’s “Fire,” plus a brand new remix of “Waiting Outside the Lines” featuring fellow teen pop sensation Charice!

Disney Channel Star & Pop Singer Shane Harper Releases Debut Album April 12th

Shane Harper, a featured guest star on the Disney Channel’s “Good Luck Charlie,” has announced details of his debut music release ONE STEP CLOSER.  The nine-track album will be released on all US digital stores on April 12^th, 2011, via AMI Records, the label owned by Adam Anders, the renowned musical producer for the hit TV show Glee.  The release comes just in time for the kickoff of Harper’s multi-city tour supporting other teen superstars Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson.

Most recently, Shane has a recurring guest star role as Spencer Walsh on the Disney Channel original TV series, Good Luck Charlie. Shane also has a supporting role in the Rob Reiner-directed film, Flipped, which was released in August 2010. The movie also featured his vocals on a remake of Don & Juan’s hit “What’s Your Name.”  Look for Shane in a guest star appearance in the 4^th season of Disney’s Emmy-award winning, “Wizards of Waverly Place.

Greyson Chance has released his first music video for his debut single “Waiting Outside the Lines,” premiering today on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and VEVO.com.  The video follows Greyson and his piano on a journey to some unexpected locations.

Greyson Chance “Waiting Outside the Lines” Video & Single in Stores Tuesday 12/14

Greyson Chance’s debut single “Waiting Outside the Lines” will be available for purchase in WalMart, Target, FYE and everywhere CDs are sold on 12/14.  The release includes a never before heard version of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi,” as well as a powerful cover of “Fire” by Augustana.

Also on 12/14, the highly anticipated video for “Waiting Outside the Lines” will premiere in full on VEVO.com, with a clip airing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”  The video was directed by Sanaa Hamri (Lenny Kravitz, Prince, Sting, Jay-Z, Christina Aguilera) and shot in Los Angeles. “With ’Waiting Outside The Lines’ I heard and saw Greyson and the piano in different environments.  The metaphor of this video is how we’re all transported when we hear music,”  said Hamri.

Greyson is now holding a “Waiting Outside the Lines” fan cover video showcase on his website. Fans can upload their covers as a video response to his official YouTube channel.  Greyson will be featuring his favorite videos on his website, select covers and a video announcement are up now at greyson-official.com.

Greyson Chance to Release Debut Single “Waiting Outside the Lines” October 26th!

Greyson Chance is set to premiere his debut single “Waiting Outside the Lines,” on Tuesday, October 26^th on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” The song will be available on iTunes Tuesday as well.

“I’m so excited for everyone to hear my first single,” said Chance. “This song comes from the heart and I hope and pray that my fans can use it to ‘escape’ from all of the pressures of life. I can’t wait for everyone to take this journey with me.”

The 13 year-old phenomenon is expected to release his debut album in early 2011 on eleveneleven/Maverick/Geffen Records, with a top team of producers including acclaimed songwriter/producer and Geffen chairman Ron Fair (Christina Aguilera, Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls).

Greyson Chance surprised Ellen backstage at the Teen Choice Awards, where he was nominated for Choice Web Star, and together they had a message for all of Greyson’s fans.  Watch the behind-the-scenes action here.

Greyson is in Los Angeles recording his debut album for Geffen Records and Ellen’s own label, eleveneleven, and he’s launched his official website, greyson-official.com. If you have not heard of Greyson Chance do yourself a favor and look up his videos on YouTube. He is amazing!

Greyson Chance Records Debut Album in Los Angeles

Greyson Chance may be having the best summer vacation ever.  The 12 year old piano prodigy who captured the world’s attention in May with his stunning cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” and appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, has relocated from his native Edmond, OK to Los Angeles, CA, where he’s currently in the studio recording his forthcoming debut album for Ellen’s own ElevenEleven label & Geffen Records.

Though it’s only been two months since Greyson became a household name, he’s already nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Best Web Star!  Vote here and tune in for the results August 9th at 7pm on FOX.
