I am extremely excited for Don Jon. It was written and directed by none other than the awesome, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and it looks like a winner. Gordon-Levitt also stars as the lead alongside Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore and Tony Danza. From the trailer we learn that the things Don Jon values the most are his body, his pad, his ride, family, church, his boys, his girls, and porn. He soon realizes that he might have to start re-evaluating his priorities after meeting a new girl that could be the one.
Since this is a JGL project I know it’s not going to be entirely predictable. It will most likely have the perfect combination of seriousness and comedy and incredible acting. So you bet I’ll be checking it out in theaters, September 27th. Watch the trailer above and mark your calendars!
