Ed Sheeran‘snewest video for the single, “Thinking Out Loud” is quite the surprise! Who knew he had it in him to dance the night away like that. Ed reportedly had professional dancers come in to train him just so he could get the routine down perfect. The hard work sure paid off! Beautiful song (not surprising), but I just can’t take my eyes off him in this video. Check it out above!
This new track from Brooklyn duo, The Golden Pony sounds a bit strange at first, but as you continue to listen to “Filthy Lover“, well, you start to like it. It’s funky, crazy and cool all at once. Who said disco was dead? These guys have an interesting creative process and they shared how the song came about:
After creating the music for “Filthy Lover”, we thought a Chanty/Cheerleader kind of vocal would work nice, like in that 80’s track that goes ‘Hey Mickey your so fine you blow my mind.’ To flush the idea out we tried recording our own vocals and pitching them way up, which ended up sounding like a mix between a little kid and a Transvestite. We thought this worked nicely in a weird way, so that we left them in!
Yesterday, Justin Bieber released a music video for his new song, “Confident” featuring Chance The Rapper. Amidst all his legal troubles, Biebs is trudging through and working on what he does best–making the tweens swoon.
The song, as you can imagine, talks about him being into a girl who is confident. The video inserts dialogue between him and a chick whose number he wants. Not that you could call the worst pick up line ever as dialogue, but just go with it. At the end she agrees to give him her number, but the only exchange we see is a kiss. Because let’s be real, he probably doesn’t have to do much to pick up a girl.
I can’t say I’m a big fan of Chance The Rapper, in fact, I’d probably like the song a whole lot better without him. There’s also a few choreographed dance sequences in the video, but nothing over the top. See for yourself above.
Timeflies released the lyric video for their latest single, “All The Way” today. The track is a pure Timeflies pop-dance track. The video features a skateboarder skating non-stop down a neighborhood street. Love these guys. Check out the video above!
Psy‘s follow-up single to “Gangnam Style” is here. The single, “Gentleman” is definitely catchy and the video is a bit more scandalous compared to Gangnam, but we all knew he had to amp it up with this release. Psy penned the lyrics and reunited with co-producer, Yoo Gun Hyung who also produced “Gangnam Style”.
The video was just released today and it’s already at 4 million+ views. What do you think, does Psy have another hit on his hands?? I’m digging it.
Manhattan native Baker is hitting the electro-pop scene with his upbeat track, “Not Gonna Wait” produced by Young Boyz. Personally, I can’t stop listening to it. To Date “Not Gonna Wait” has garnered over 2 million views on YouTube. He also performed at this year’s SXSW Festival. Give “Not Gonna Wait” a listen and check him out at www.bakermusic.com. He’s currently playing shows in the L.A. area, so catch him while you can.
