One of my favs, Meg Myers released a video for her track, “Sorry” and she has Rolling Stone raving all about her (took them long enough). Meg is one of a kind and has so much passion in her music. “Sorry” continues to impress and of course it wouldn’t be complete without a unique music video—this time we get her smashing up a room with a baseball bat!
Meg’s brand is cool and different and while some outlets think she’s all over the place, we think her expressing so many emotions and styles is part of her charm. Soon enough she will be appreciated for that. Take a look at the video above!
Charli XCXis bringing hit after hit! After working with Icona Pop and Iggy Azalea she released the addicting track, “Boom Clap” and now she has dropped a new video for her latest single, “Break the Rules”. The video features cameos from Rose McGowan and Chloe Chaidez (Kitten). Her sophomore album, “Sucker” is out on October 21st via Neon Gold/Atlantic Records.
I was inspired by movies like” Jawbreaker” and “Carrie” for the “Break the Rules” video. I never went to prom when I was at school so this was kind of me living out my weird fantasy of what prom would be like in my head. I asked Rose McGowan to be in the video and I never ever thought she would say yes, but she did… so she came to prom too… And she trashed it 😉 – Charli XCX
The long awaited EP, titled “Make A Shadow” by Meg Myers has been released and it is glorious. I have been a fan of Meg for a while now and every time she introduces a new track, I have a new favorite song. Now, I have 5 new favorite songs and they are (as ordered on the EP): “Desire”, “Go”, “Make A Shadow”, “Heart Heart Head”, and “The Morning After”. What I love about this EP is that there is clearly a theme, but they each still manage to have their own individuality. Continue Reading

Meg Myerscontinues to impress me with every song she releases. She’s getting them featured on TV shows, but it’s not enough. Everyone needs to know about her–like now. The good news is that she is now signed to Atlantic Records, but clearly I need to continue my promoting duties if my neighbors haven’t been blasting her music.
She released the music video for her new track, “Desire” (produced by Doctor Rosen Rosen), last week. Filled with her signature blend of angst and an abundance of passion, Meg delivers again. She is incredibly talented, it’s crazy. But not as crazy as the music video. Watch the awesomeness above.
If you like what you hear then you’ll want to check out her EP, Make A Shadow, which comes out on February 11, 2014. You can pre-order it over here.
