The Little Princelooks like a winner!! Animated films have come a long way and this one looks like a combination of all the things we like to see in one: heartfelt story, some of our favorite celebrities doing voice-over’s (hello, James Franco), and visually stimulating animation. The voice cast includes: Rachel McAdams, Mackenzie Foy, James Franco, Jeff Bridges, Marion Cotillard, Benicio Del Toro, and Paul Giamatti. The film will be released this year, but as of right now there is no set release date.
Here comes another take on Wizard of Oz, but this time it comes in an animated form. Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return is a musical showcasing music composed by Bryan Adams and featuring voices of Lea Michele as Dorothy, Dan Aykroydas the Scarecrow, Kelsey Grammer as the Tin Man, Jim Belushi as the cowardly lion as well as Martin Short, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Dancy and Megan Hilty.
This time Dorothy returns to Kansas to find it in ruins. She manages to find a way back to Oz only to find out that things aren’t that great there either and her old pals are in trouble. She goes on to meet new friends and encounters a new villain. From the looks of the trailer, it doesn’t seem all that bad. I guess we will see when the motion picture hits theaters on May 9, 2014.
Electronic music producer and DJ Wolfgang Gartner has transformed into a cartoon version of himself for the music video of his latest single,“Redline”. Created by New Media DNA, with director Eric Damier and lead animator Jose Cubero. The video is like watching a short animated film that has a modernistic/spacey theme, but features Wolfgang’s cartoon version doing what he does best—blowing it up for a massive crowd. Watch it below.
