The Bolts, the rock-pop band from The OC, will be headlining The Roxy in Los Angeles on November 30^th to celebrate their Fall 2012 EP. Their full length debut album is set to release on the Bolts Broadcasting Co. in February 2013.

Comprised of brothers, Heath, Austin and Ryan Farmer and friends, Ryan Kilpatrick and Matt Champagne, these guys are influenced by some of the greats like The Beatles and The Clash to present day rockers like The Killers and My Chemical Romance. They’ve had their music featured on television shows such as Degrassi and Necessary Roughness, and their single, “Walk Away” is featured in a SoBe commercial with model, Kate Upton.

In the past, we have posted their video for their catchy song, “Walk Away”, reviewed their Fall 2012 EP (4/5!!!) and now we are giving away a pair of tickets to The Roxy show to one VERY lucky person. Not too long ago we posted the music video for “Walk Away” from The Bolts. Since then we have been hearing rave reviews on the OC-band. We usually don’t review EP’s, especially from unsigned bands, but every now and then we make an exception. Their Fall EP consists of four outstanding tracks: “Walk Away”, “The Truth”, “This Can’t Be Real”, and “We May Fall”.

Southern California’s newest modern rock-pop act, The Bolts are having their Fall 2012 EP Release Party on September 15th in Los Angeles at the Troubadour. The band, comprised of bassist and vocalist, Addam Farmer; guitarist and vocalist Heath Farmer; keyboardist and vocalist, Austin Farmer; guitarist and vocalist, Ryan Kilpatrick; and drummer Matt Champagne are ready to showcase more of their catchy tunes. Listening to “Walk Away” from the OC based band, The Bolts is a refreshing change from what’s currently in the pop-rock scene. Their blend of music appeals to classic rock and modern rock listeners alike. They are releasing their EP “Fall” on September 21st and will follow up with their debut full-length album next year.
