Grammy nominated band, The Fray have had hits such as “How to Save a Life” and “You Found Me”. They kicked off the show with their newest single, “Love Don’t Die” and it was UH-mazing. The guitar intro with Isaac’s voice was rockin’. Consequently, I have had the song stuck in my head since.
Their energy was off the charts. Not only was Isaac jumping in the crowd throughout their set, but he ended up climbing on one of the side stage towers (see the photo above). He survived the climb and then settled down onto the piano that he brought out. Only two songs were televised, but they played five tracks including: “Love Don’t Die”, “Heartbeat”, “Hurricane”, “You Found Me”, and “Over My Head”.
The Fray pulled out all the stops. I mean, they brought out a piano for songs that were not televised. That’s some commitment to their fans and really a testament to the kind of band they are. On top of that, they had to rush to another gig right after. Yep, they’re awesome. You bet I thoroughly enjoyed the show and I don’t see my love for their music dying anytime soon.
