Since a 15-second commercial ad aired during SNL this past Saturday, the world has been a buzz about the return of Daft Punk. The ad, of course, doesn’t give away much information. Just a snippet of what could be a new song off their forthcoming album with their trademark helmets on the backdrop.
Rumors of new music have been going on since last year with no word from the duo until now. They have officially confirmed their new record deal with Columbia after being with Virgin Records for ten years.
Beyond thrilled! Love these guys and even though they released new music with the Tron: Legacy Soundtrack in 2010, we needed more. Now all we need is a tour. That’s going to be bananas.
