YELLOWCARD announced the official pre-sale of their new album, Southern Airthat began on June 20th. You can pre-order your copy at Hopelessrecords.com/yellowcard. MTV has announced that they will premiere the new video for YELLOWCARD‘s single “Hang You Up” on all of their channels. “This is amazing news,” said the band in a statement. “The video will be premiering on Tuesday April 5th exclusively on all the MTV Networks – MTV, MTV2, mtvU, MTV Hits, and MTV.com! You can help us out by tweeting and posting on Facebook so everyone can see it!” The video was directed by Chris Marrs Pilliero who recently won a VMA Award for directing The Black Keys’ “Tighten Up” and also directed new videos for The Ready Set, Ke$haand Yellowcard’s previous video “For You, And Your Denial.”
With the release of YELLOWCARD‘s hugely-anticipated release of When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes on March 22, 2011, a collective sigh of relief has swept across the band. “After months of waiting we are finally here,” said the band in a joint statement. “When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes is out.
